Day 1: Today I battle lukewarmness, complacency, and sleepiness.
Joel 2: 12-13 – “That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.”
Today I come with fasting, Lord. I turn to you and give you my heart.
May I not live lukewarm. May I not live complacent.
Awaken the sleepy parts of my soul. Awaken your people, Lord.
Come Holy Spirit, may my love for you my God and for others abound.
Align my heart with yours. May passion arise!
