This morning I was watching my 1 year old daughter’s face, just waiting for her eyes to catch mine. She kept looking in one direction, then the other, not realizing I was looking at her, until finally her gaze caught mine. She smiled, and wow, what joy I felt inside!
It made me wonder of our Father God, as He gazes upon us all, waiting for His distracted children to finally catch our eyes meeting His, and then the joy He must feel to show His delight and love for us. Yes God, help us all to feel these moments with you, meeting your gaze and experiencing your delight in us. Amen.
