Come Holy Spirit, please come upon the Fathers in my life, both physical Fathers and spiritual Fathers. I ask for a fresh anointing upon them. As you pour your love into their hearts, may that love overflow to their families, Lord.
Help Fathers recognize how you chose them and uniquely created them for your purpose of raising your children. May they be proud of this calling and see it as a gift.
Help them balance work and home life. May they find contentment when they are at home, and receive love, encouragement, and joy from their families. Strengthen the unity and love in marriages, Lord.
Where they find lack and affliction, may they be quick to turn to you, Lord. Compel them to pray continually. Equip them with strength and wisdom and humility.
May their hearts become like Jesus’ heart – fiercely fighting for their children and closely connected to the Father, while showing mercy, understanding, and gentleness to others.
These children need good Fathers who lead them to their Heavenly Father. You write the story, Lord, show them the way.
Yes, come Holy Spirit, I believe you are at work within these Fathers’ hearts. I yield to you, I surrender to you. May they bring you glory by the way they lead their children. Thank you so much, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
