I come from a faith upbringing that unfortunately did not teach me how to evangelize when I was growing up. I assume many are in the same boat – faith was private and I feared talking about it, offending others, or not knowing “the answers”.
One suggestion I heard lately was to have ready a 30 second and a 3 minute explanation of the difference that Jesus makes in your life. I’m going to work on this. Then at some point, I think God will cross my path with someone whom it might help.
Now that I have been sharing my faith and my life for over a year on this blog, I really want to hear from you. Will you send a comment either publicly or privately and answer this question: What difference does Jesus make in your life? (I will not share the private ones if you tell me not to share it.)
Come Holy Spirit, help me to see clearly the difference that Jesus makes in my life and to articulate it in such a way that it is attractive to others. May we inspire one another to confidence and courage to share our stories, for God’s glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
