What if we believed that we are God’s big plan?
Everyday we are bombarded with the brokenness of this world, even our own brokenness. But let us not get stuck there.
What if we believed that we are God’s big plan?
The little choices made each day…aligning our will with God’s will; falling to our knees in humility and worship; boldly obeying His commands; trusting in His goodness and love. It all matters.
“You are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9
I know our little choices matter because I have witnessed God bring light into the darkness of people’s lives. And then through those people, God brings light into another person’s darkness. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:5
What if we believed that we are God’s big plan?
Let us immerse ourselves in God’s word.
Let us spend time quiet with God.
Let us worship God.
Let us believe that we were chosen by God and expect Him to work in and through us.
Let us ask big things of our God.
Lord, may I believe that I am part of your big plan to spread Jesus, the Light, in the world? Teach me how. Increase my faith, my worship, and my humility. May I boldly love you and the people you put in my path. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
