Crippled

Jesus, what do you see crippling me right now from living fully?

In Luke 13:10-13, Jesus sees a woman crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight. Jesus called her over, touched her and she was instantly healed of her sickness. She could stand straight and she praised God.

Jesus, you see me and you see what is crippling me. Sometimes I can’t recognize the lies, the sins, the fears, the thought patterns, the bondages that I hold on to. They bend me over to not live with the dignity, truth, and love I was created for. Search me. I come to you like the woman, seeking freedom, wanting to live fully. Heal me, restore me with your loving, gentle touch. I listen for your voice, I hold your hand guiding me. I trust you and I praise our Father for His goodness and mercy. Thank you, I love you. Amen.
