He doesn’t force us to know Him, but He allows us to get to know Him on this journey of life. One of those intimate ways is with the gift of His Word, the Bible. I’m in awe of God’s humility today and the freedom He gives us.
Father God, reveal to me your great heart. Give me a desire to spend time in scripture learning your heart, your great love for me, your path to life. I want passion for you and to not live indifferently! Create in me a desire to know you, to love you, and to serve you with my whole heart, mind, soul and strength. I also pray this for my loved ones, and ask these things in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
