Thank you God for the people in my life who know me and love me. You particularly designed them to love me in the ways they do – with their presence, their smiles, their hugs, their texts or emails, their little gifts, their joking, their stories, their cooking, their ears to listen, their hands to help, their prayers, their protection, their wisdom.
Thank you for the gift of perspective to realize we are all broken, in need of you, our Savior. I don’t need to hold my family and friends accountable to fulfill all my needs for love, as only you can fill that need. I can let them live freely, to love as they see to love or are able to love. I thank you for this understanding. Please form my heart to love with humility and grace, and help me guide others to you, so you can love them perfectly. Amen.
